The exclusive Punta Esmeralda resort is in Bahía Banderas between Bucerías and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle about 25 min away from Puerto Vallarta’s airport. It is a perfect location to access all the marvelous small towns and beaches in Bahia Banderas! Bucerías has great local activities and has impeccable gastronomy. Very well known for its fresh seafood. You can walk its streets and visit its lovely market during the day and enjoy drinks and delicious dinners at night.

La Cruz de Huanacaxtle has much to offer as well. Enjoy Playa Destiladeras, a few km before Punta Mita, a peaceful beach to watch the amazing Vallarta sunsets, known for its white sands and calmed waves. Another amazing beach to visit is Playa la Manzanilla perfect for kids with lots of shops and places to eat and enjoy.
